If the birth you need to register took place outside of the City of Derby please contact the Registration Service where the birth occured to arrange an appointment.

If your child was born at Royal Derby Hospital but you live in another local authority area, you may wish contact the registrars where you live to enquire about making a declaration of the birth. This may mean the registration can be completed and the birth certificate obtained more quickly.
